Volleyball Recap: Westlake Beats Bell Gardens for Their Third Straight Victory

Westlake waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Bell Gardens Lancers by a score of 2-0.

Kyson Ririe paced Westlake's offense, picking up nine kills. Ririe got some help from Keagan Cundiff and his 25 assists. Thomas Wood controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Westlake's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Bell Gardens, their loss dropped their record down to 9-11.

Coincidentally, Westlake and Bell Gardens will both be playing California the next time they take the court. Bell Gardens will head out to face California at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while Westlake will play them later in the day, at 5:00 p.m.
