Given the Crusaders' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 180th, while the Fighting Irish are ranked 493rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Carrollton's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Canton Central Catholic, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.
