Softball Recap: Parkview Vikings vs. Williams Bay Bulldogs
Parkview had lost six straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Monday they dropped their record down to 1-12 to make it seven. They came up short against the Williams Bay Bulldogs, falling 15-2. Having soared to a lofty 22 runs in the game before, the Vikings couldn't push the score so high this time.
Makenna Phillips was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with three stolen bases and two runs.
As for Williams Bay, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-7 and their overall record up to 3-11. The win continues a trend for them in their matchups with Parkview: they've now won three in a row.
