Football Game Preview: Bellefonte Raiders vs. Richland Rams + How To Watch

The Bellefonte Raiders will head out on the road to take on the Richland Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Bellefonte and Philipsburg-Osceola had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Raiders walked away with a 24-15 victory over the Mountaineers on Friday. The contest marked the Raiders' most dominant win of the season.

Bellefonte's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Quinn Park, who rushed for 75 yards and one touchdown, and also threw for 79 yards and one TD while completing 80% of his passes. Those 75 rushing yards gave Park a new career-high. Bellefonte also got a significant boost from Kaven Smith-kirk, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 99 yards.

Meanwhile, Richland had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 40 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They blew past the Trojans 36-0. Given the Rams' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 93rd, while the Trojans are ranked 447th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Richland's win came from a few key players Bellefonte will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jacob Regan, who threw for 182 yards and three TDs while completing 75% of his passes. He has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last three times he's played. Arnold Mugerwa was Regan's top target, picking up 85 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Bellefonte's record now sits at 3-4. As for Richland, their record is now 6-1.

Bellefonte took a serious blow against Richland in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 41-14. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Raiders were down 27-7.
