Volleyball Recap: Caylee Soap Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Sparks

North Valleys not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since October 23, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on the Sparks Railroaders with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Railroaders, too.

North Valleys was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-12, 25-19.

North Valleys got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Caylee Soap out in front who had nine digs and five aces.

North Valleys' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Sparks, their loss was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-3.

North Valleys wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Douglas on the 26th. As for Sparks, they have also already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Lowry on the 28th.
