Basketball Game Preview: Glendale Falcons vs. Webb City Cardinals

The Glendale Falcons will head out on the road to take on the Webb City Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Last Monday, Glendale made easy work of Neosho and carried off a 57-31 win. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 127th, while the Wildcats are ranked 425th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Webb City had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They breezed by the Tigers to the tune of 64-33.

Webb City is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.5 points per game. As for Glendale, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.
