Kingwood extended their postseason success on Thursday against Dripping Springs. They blew past the Tigers 16-6. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won 18 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Kingwood is on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 34-4-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.2 runs over those games. As for Dripping Springs, their loss ended an 11-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 31-11-1.

Coming up, Kingwood will challenge Forney at 1:00 p.m. on the 31st. The Jackrabbits will roll in looking for their 18th straight win, something the Mustangs surely won't give up without a fight. Dripping Springs does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
