Soccer Recap: Northeast Falls to Westside in First Game of Season

Northeast had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Westside Seminoles by a score of 2-1 on Thursday.

The win made it two in a row for Westside and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Northeast wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 4-2 defeat against Putnam County on the 20th. Westside will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Morgan County at 5:30 p.m. on March 5th.
