Elmont Memorial came tearing into Monday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Division Blue Dragons by a score of 52-42. This was a revenge game for the Spartans: when they faced off against the Blue Dragons back in January, they had to take a 52-50 loss.

Elmont Memorial pushed their record up to 9-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.4 points over those games. As for Division, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

Elmont Memorial does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Division, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 58-37 victory against Roslyn on the 6th.
