Basketball Recap: Lake Region Takes a Loss

Lake Region was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 43-41 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lyndon Institute Vikings. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rangers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 41-29 back in December of 2024.

Lake Region's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Lyndon Institute, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake Region will challenge Harwood at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Harwood will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Lake Region surely won't give up without a fight. Lyndon Institute has already played their next game (against Randolph), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
