Softball Recap: St. Paul Takes a Loss

Crestview hit St. Paul with a nine-run third inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Flyers came up short against the Cougars, falling 13-3. The Flyers have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Ella Kalizewski was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

St. Paul's loss dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Crestview, the win was the 17th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-2.
