It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Davis Sr. had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Chavez Titans a 7-0 shutout. The game marked the Blue Devils' most dominant win of the season.

Their offense was hitting Chavez from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. John Martinez led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by himself.

Davis Sr. pushed their record up to 14-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four matchups. As for Chavez, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-4.

Davis Sr. didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-2 win against Sheldon on the 21st. Chavez does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
