Basketball Recap: Monett Piles Up the Points Against Seneca

Monett hadn't done well against Seneca recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Monett Cubs simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Seneca Indians 66-37. That 29 point margin sets a new team best for the Cubs this season.

Monett pushed their record up to 4-5 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.6 points per game. As for Seneca, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.
