Basketball Recap: Osceola Piles Up the Points Against Gateway + How To Watch

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Osceola). They took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 76-43 win over the Gateway Panthers. The Kowboys have beaten the Panthers the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Panthers has come to flipping the script.

Luke Mccrimon produced another solid performance going 10-for-14 to rack up 21 points and four steals. The contest was his fifth in a row with at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Mason, who shot 63% from the field en route to 12 points.

Osceola was working as a unit and finished the game with 23 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

When it comes to explaining why Gateway lost, don't look at Landon Carry. Despite the final result, he went 8-for-17 on his way to 20 points and six rebounds. Carry has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Maxwell Garcon Jr was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 13 points and nine boards.

Osceola's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Gateway, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.

Osceola wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 72-65 defeat against Oviedo on the 15th. As for Gateway, they have also already played their next game, a 78-46 loss against East River on the 15th.
