Basketball Recap: Scotts Valley Takes a Loss

Scotts Valley managed to slip by Central Catholic the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Falcons had to suffer through a 73-37 loss at the hands of the Raiders. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Scotts Valley lost on Friday despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Braedan Dickenson, who posted nine points. Another player making a difference was Alex Burgos, who earned eight points.

Scotts Valley's loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Scotts Valley will be taking part in a tournament against Pacific Collegiate at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Central Catholic, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Willow Glen at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
