Soccer Preview: Lisle vs. Peotone
On Tuesday Lisle will have to hit the road after three straight games at home. They will venture away from home to challenge the Peotone Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. Lisle is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4 goals per game this season.
Lisle will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any goals on Thursday, then bounced right back against Illinois Math & Science Academy on Saturday. Lisle never let Illinois Math & Science Academy onto the board and left with a 4-0 victory. It was an even better day for Aldo Mora as he scored three goals for his team.
Meanwhile, Peotone was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell just short of Herscher by a score of 2-1.
Lisle's win bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Peotone, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-12.
