Basketball Recap: ROWVA/Williamsfield Takes a Loss

ROWVA/Williamsfield lost a heartbreaker to Elmwood when they met back in February of 2023, and they left with a heavy heart again on Friday. The ROWVA/Williamsfield Cougars fell 62-55 to the Elmwood Trojans. The defeat continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now lost three in a row.

ROWVA/Williamsfield's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Elmwood, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-6.

ROWVA/Williamsfield will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Abingdon/Avon at 7:00 p.m. on January 24th. As for Elmwood, they will take on Delavan at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
