Softball Recap: Goldendale Comes Up Short

Goldendale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against the River View Panthers, falling 16-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-0 on Monday.

Goldendale's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for River View, the win keeps they at an undefeated 10-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Goldendale will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Cle Elum-Roslyn at 3:00 p.m. on April 15. As for River View, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Liberty Christian at 3:00 p.m. on April 8. River View's pitchers better be ready for this one: Liberty Christian has averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season.
