Soccer Recap: Mead Comes Up Short

After flying high against Shadle Park on Wednesday, Mead came back down to earth. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Cheney Blackhawks on Friday. Considering the last time Mead couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

Mead's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Cheney, their record now sits at 3-7.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Mead will square off against rival University at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Cheney is set to challenge their familiar foe Shadle Park at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
