Recap: Laurel Bulldogs vs. Woodbridge Raiders
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Laurel Bulldogs, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They fell 14-7 to Woodbridge on Friday. Laurel's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
It was another big night for Traci Johnson, who rushed for 173 yards and two touchdowns. Johnson hasn't dropped below 100 rushing yards for seven straight games.
Laurel's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Woodbridge, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.
Laurel does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Woodbridge will head out on the road to face off against Archmere Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Archmere Academy will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
