Softball Recap: Baldwin's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Baldwin can now relate to. They fell 6-3 to the North Bay Haven Academy Buccaneers on Thursday. The Indians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Buccaneers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2023.

Kendall North was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. Another player making a difference was Makaila Fry, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one RBI.

With the loss, Baldwin broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 20-8. As for North Bay Haven Academy, the victory was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 24-3.
