If Hyannis wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Maxwell, they should've done a better job of containing Ellys Gosnell. The Wildcats came out on top against the Longhorns by a score of 2-0 on Saturday thanks in part to Gosnell, who had six digs and four aces. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last three times she's played.

Maxwell now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Hyannis, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Coincidentally, Maxwell and Hyannis will both be playing Sumner-Eddyville-Miller the next time they take the court. The Longhorns will head out to face the Mustangs at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Wildcats will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
