Baseball Recap: Brownstown Central Comes Up Short

After flying high against Mitchell on Tuesday, Brownstown Central came back down to earth. The Braves fell just short of the Charlestown Pirates by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last seven times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Brownstown Central saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lane Pendleton, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Brownstown Central has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-8 record this season. As for Charlestown, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-7.
