Volleyball Recap: The Master's Academy Comes Up Short

It was a Battle of the Birds when The Master's Academy faced off against Franklin Christian Academy on Friday. The Eagles took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Falcons. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 23-25, 25-13, 25-17.

Franklin Christian Academy found their leader in freshman Tatum Beathard, who had 15 digs and two aces. Those 15 digs set a new season-high mark for Beathard.

The Master's Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Franklin Christian Academy, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

The Master's Academy has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Trinity Prep on the 2nd. As for Franklin Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Christ Presbyterian Academy on the 2nd.
