Basketball Recap: Florida Coastal Prep Takes a Loss

On Friday, the Florida Coastal Prep Spartans were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 78-73 to the Bilingual Christian Academy & Tech Tigers. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Spartans came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 40th, while the Tigers are ranked 168th).

Florida Coastal Prep's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Bilingual Christian Academy & Tech, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.
