Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask La Salle). They put the hurt on the Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts Mustangs with a sharp 17-1 win on Wednesday. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by six runs or more this season.

La Salle has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.4 runs over those games. As for Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts, they dropped their record down to 4-14 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

La Salle will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Mustangs: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
