The biggest upset of the week belonged to Lorena, who took down 109th ranked La Vega, 32-20. Harris Coleman threw for 144 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 154 yards in the win.

The Leopards moved up to 216 from 261 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 3A Region III District 17. Lorena climbed the ranks as a result of topping the Pirates 32-20.

Ray Biles' team's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Daniel Barnhill helped Lorena's passing attack out by catching one ball for 58 yards.

Brian Bays was the best wideout in the league this week as the Leopards beat La Vega. Bays tallied six receptions for 76 yards.

Robinson's Zach Sullivan and Cody Brooks have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Sullivan has thrown for 1095 yards this season, while Brooks has 25 catches for 596 yards. Coleman from Lorena leads the league in rushing with 937 yards.

The top two teams in 3A Region III District 17 will face off this week when first place Robinson takes on second place Lorena. Last week, the Rockets lost to Connally, while the Leopards topped Willie Williams' team.

Coleman of the Lorena is only 63 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season.

Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when Tommy Allison's team takes on the Leopards. The Rockets' offense has racked up 258 points this season, earning them the top spot in the league, while Lorena has allowed only 145 on the year.

The Cadets extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Robinson, 49-28. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
