Brock Felt Earns League's Top Spot

Starting off the list is Sierra's Brock Felt, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Felt's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 105 rushing yards dating back to last season. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 61 yards.

Sierra moved to 5-2 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak. Felt and Sierra will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Patterson at 7:00 p.m. on October 18th.

Royale Tago Delivers Best Performance of Season

Patterson was led to victory by Royale Tago, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Tago picked up three sacks and made six total tackles.

Patterson now has a winning record of 4-3. Tago and Patterson will head out on the road to square off against Oakdale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Burford Came Up Big in Oakdale's 42-24 Win

Oakdale picked up their fifth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Wes Burford. Nobody could stop Burford as he rushed for 160 yards and a touchdown. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 143 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Unfortunately for East Union, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Burford. Burford rushed for 135 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries the last time he and the Lancers duked it out back in October of 2023.

A Season-Best Performance from Kaden Ransohoff Leads Mountain House over Patterson

On Friday, Mountain House had to settle for second even though Kaden Ransohoff put up the best numbers he has all season. Ransohoff picked up 96 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 74 yards.

Mountain House is on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7. Ransohoff and Mountain House are taking a road trip to square off against Manteca at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Gavin Wyatt Makes It Two for Oakdale

Another Oakdale player making an appearance on this list is Gavin Wyatt. He rushed for 65 yards and a touchdown on only five carries, and also picked up 60 receiving yards and a touchdown.

For the year, Wyatt has caught 3 touchdowns while averaging 20.8 receiving yards per game.
