Corning entered their tilt with Bay on Monday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the Yellowjackets 13-4. The Bobcats' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Corning pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.4 runs over those games. As for Bay, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
