Football Recap: LEE Volunteers vs. Clark Cougars

If LEE was feeling good fresh off their 36-0 takedown of Brackenridge two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Volunteers had to suffer through a 42-0 loss at the hands of the Clark Cougars. The Volunteers have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Barron Broome threw for 41 yards on five of eight attempts. On the ground, Tahrie Chandler rushed for 39 yards.

Clark can attribute much of their success to Isaiah Santillan, who threw for 138 yards and three TDs while completing 81.8% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave Santillan a new career-high in passer rating (161.9).
