Baseball Recap: Yorkville Christian Takes a Loss

Yorkville Christian lost against Wheaton Academy back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Mustangs came up short against the Warriors, falling 9-1.

Yorkville Christian saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brody Davis, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Yorkville Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Wheaton Academy, their record is now 17-14.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Yorkville Christian will challenge Plano at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Reapers will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Mustangs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Wheaton Academy, they will square off against Parkview Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Falcons have averaged an impressive 7.7 runs per game this season.
