Baseball Preview: Jasper Vikings vs. Lawrence County Red Devils
Jasper is 3-0 against Lawrence County since April of 2023, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Jasper Vikings will head out on the road to take on the Lawrence County Red Devils at 4:30 p.m. Jasper is no doubt hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses.

Maddox Denham and Zane Keenum were a major factor while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Denham pitched an inning while giving up no earned runs or hits (he also didn't allow any walks). Meanwhile, Keenum tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive pitching appearances. At the plate, Denham scored a run while going 1-for-2, while Keenum went 3-for-4 with five RBI and a run.
In other batting news, Eli Long was excellent, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was Drew Gatlin, who scored three runs and stole a base.
