Soccer Recap: West Caldwell Comes Up Short

West Caldwell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They came up short against the Newton-Conover Red Devils, falling 9-0. That's two games in a row now that West Caldwell have lost by exactly nine goals.

West Caldwell's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Newton-Conover, they pushed their record up to 10-4-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, West Caldwell will host Bunker Hill at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. West Caldwell will be up against Bunker Hill's rather soft defense (which has allowed three goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Newton-Conover, they will venture away from home to square off against West Brunswick at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
