Baseball Recap: Navasota Takes a Loss

Navasota lost against Bellville last Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rattlers fell 6-2 to the Brahmas. The Rattlers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Navasota saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Owen Otto, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.

Navasota's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Bellville, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 9-10.

Coming up, Navasota will be playing in front of their home fans against Smithville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bellville, they will head out to face off against Giddings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
