New Hope's tournament run continued when they took on Pontotoc on Friday. New Hope came up short against Pontotoc, falling 55-30. The loss continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now lost six in a row.

Meanwhile, Gentry had just enough and edged Cleveland Central out 33-31 on Friday.

Gentry has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 13-12 record this season. As for New Hope, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-5.
