Polytechnic came into Monday's matchup having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with an 11-8 win over the Eagle Rock Eagles on Monday. The Panthers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Caiden Kennedy was excellent, scoring four runs while going 2-for-4. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Harrison Unanue, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two RBI.

Polytechnic's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Eagle Rock, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coming up, Polytechnic will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Temple City at 4:00 p.m. As for Eagle Rock, they will venture away from home to challenge Muir at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
