Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Andrea Hernandez and Anjalee Lemons Lead Dalton to Victory

Dalton came into Tuesday's game having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Woodland Wildcats by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Catamounts, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Dalton was led to victory by Anjalee Lemons and Andrea Hernandez. Lemons had four digs and four aces, while Hernandez had six digs and two assists. What's more, Lemons racked up 13 assists, the most she's had over her last seven matchups. Adi Wickes also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Dalton's victory bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Woodland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-11.

After both having extra time off, Dalton and Hiram will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on September 4. As for Woodland, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Cartersville on the 26th.
