Basketball Recap: Addison Perks' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Perry over Webster City

Perry lost against Webster City back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Perry Bluejays lost to the Webster City Lynx at home by a 43-28 margin. The Bluejays have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Several Bluejays players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Addison Perks, who posted 13 points and five boards. Perks continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played. Taryn Nehring was another key player, putting up seven points and four steals.

Perry's defeat dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Webster City, their victory ended an 11-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-17.

Perry wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 70-15 loss against A-D-M on the 19th. Webster City has also already played their next game (against Mason City), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
