Softball Recap: Kossuth Aggies vs. Corinth Warriors
Kossuth won the last time they faced Corinth and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Aggies came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 7-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Aggies.
Hallie Kate Smith spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on four hits.
At the plate, Madison Mitchell was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Caliann Mitchell, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Kossuth kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Corinth only managed six.
