Basketball Recap: Hudson Torres Key Part of a Team Effort in Broncos Win

Denton's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Colleyville Heritage on Tuesday. The Denton Broncos snuck past the Argyle Eagles with a 38-34 victory. The 38-point effort marked the Broncos' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Denton got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Hudson Torres out in front who posted 11 points. Another player making a difference was Jacory Singh, who put up ten points.

Denton is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-13 record this season. As for Argyle, their loss ended an 11-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 13-16.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Ryan the next time they take the court. Argyle will host Ryan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Denton will head out to face them at 7:15 p.m. on February 4th.
