Basketball Recap: Cedaredge Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Cedaredge, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 47-44 victory over the North Fork Miners on Tuesday. For the Bruins, this counts as revenge for the 49-46 win the Miners walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Brady Cooper was the offensive standout of the contest as he went 6 for 13 on his way to 17 points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Logan Sanders, who posted 12 points.

When it comes to explaining why North Fork lost, don't look at Moss Inman. Despite the final result, he earned 16 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. Inman's evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. David Audelo was another key player, putting up eight points and six boards.

Cedaredge's victory bumped their record up to 3-8. As for North Fork, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

Cedaredge didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 58-52 loss against Grand Valley on the 24th. As for North Fork, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 66-56 win against Olathe on the 24th.
