Terrence Mcdowell Jr Crosses Big Stat Threshold

Tamaqua was led to victory by Terrence McDowell Jr, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. McDowell Jr rushed for 227 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.5 yards per carry. Thanks to that strong showing, he's now averaging 2.2 rushing touchdowns per game. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 111 rushing yards.

He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making five total tackles and defending one pass.

Lazorick might have his next game, a road matchup with Southern Lehigh, circled on his calendar. Back in October of 2024 (the last time Lazorick saw the Spartans), he threw for 389 yards and three TDs while picking up 13.0 yards per attempt.
