Baseball Recap: Jamestown Eagles vs. Hampton Crabbers

Suggested Video

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Jamestown can now relate to. They took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hampton Crabbers on Monday. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Crabbers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Jamestown saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Connor Page, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Jamestown has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season. As for Hampton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-1.

As of now, neither Jamestown nor the Crabbers have any future games scheduled.
