Caliche won against Lone Star on Saturday with 62 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. The Buffaloes breezed past the Weldon Valley Warriors to the tune of 62-21. The Buffaloes haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Leading Caliche to victory were Ryann Svoboda and Alexis Breidenbach. Svoboda shot 77% from the field to rack up 22 points, while Breidenbach dropped a double-double with 13 points and 11 boards. Another player making a difference was Hallie Lewis, who posted eight points and eight steals.

Caliche smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in eight consecutive contests dating back to last season.

Despite the loss, Weldon Valley had strong showings from Isabella Petrino, who earned six points, and Gracie Eiring, who had seven points.

Caliche's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Weldon Valley, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 1-2.

Caliche wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 64-7 victory against Front Range Baptist on the 12th. As for Weldon Valley, they have also already played their next matchup, a 73-43 loss against Kit Carson on the 11th.
