Albuquerque Academy and Bloomfield squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Albuquerque Academy had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Bobcats by a score of 4-2. The Chargers' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Albuquerque Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andrew Olson, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base.

Albuquerque Academy's loss dropped their record down to 18-10. As for Bloomfield, they pushed their record up to 23-6 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road.

As of now, neither Albuquerque Academy nor the Bobcats have any future games scheduled.
