Soccer Recap: Enid Takes a Loss

If Enid was feeling good fresh off their 4-1 takedown of Ponca City last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Plainsmen lost 5-0 to the Union Redhawks on Tuesday. Enid have struggled against Union recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Enid now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Union, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Enid will face off against Sapulpa at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Enid are facing Sapulpa at the right time seeing as Sapulpa are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Union, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Grant at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Union will be up against Grant's rather soft defense (which has allowed six goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
