Basketball Recap: Mid-Carolina Takes a Loss

Mid-Carolina fought the good fight in their overtime match against Chester on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Chester Cyclones by a score of 54-51. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Rebels have suffered since December 19, 2023.

Mid-Carolina's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Chester, their victory bumped their record up to 9-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mid-Carolina will challenge Eau Claire at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Chester, they are taking a road trip to take on Clinton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
