Basketball Recap: Anderson Comes Up Short

Anderson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 58-26 loss at the hands of the West Clermont Wolves. While losing is never fun, the Raptors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 510th, while the Wolves are ranked 72nd).

Breea Coston was Anderson's leading scorer, having posted seven points. Lucy Redman held things down on the boards with nine rebounds. She took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with three assists.

Anderson's loss dropped their record down to 3-17. As for West Clermont, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-5.

Anderson will challenge Walnut Hills at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Walnut Hills will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Anderson surely won't give up without a fight. As for West Clermont, they will head out on the road to take on Kings at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
