Recap: Harpeth Hall Honeybears vs. Lynwood Knights
The Harpeth Hall Honeybears had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24 points), and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. They snuck past Lynwood with a 47-42 victory. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Harpeth Hall has scored all year.
Several Knights players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Zaliyah Castillo, who scored ten points. Another player making a difference was Shanilah Ewing, who scored eight points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Harpeth Hall's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Lynwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.
Harpeth Hall and Fairview will round out the year against one another at 4:00 p.m. on December 27th at. Lynwood will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against San Ramon Valley at 6:00 p.m. on December 27th.
