Basketball Recap: Bridge Creek's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

Bridge Creek came into Saturday's match having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Chickasha Fighting Chicks by a score of 59-49 on Saturday. This was a revenge game for the Bobcats: when they faced off against the Fighting Chicks back in December of 2024, they had to take a 50-46 defeat.

The win got Bridge Creek back to even at 8-8. As for Chickasha, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bridge Creek will square off against Little Axe at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Little Axe knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Bridge Creek likes a good challenge. As for Chickasha, they will face off against Weatherford at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Weatherford will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Chickasha surely won't give up without a fight.
